Hello Friends.
I was surfing at Youtube, looking for some short videos to pass during breaks of my trainings, just to relax and I found some good stuff at Youtube. I’m not sure if some of these videos were already pointed on some previous thread. But I decide to mention it anyway. 1. A Funny Six Sigma video clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNtEW4DVRkE 2. A Process Improvement video using DMAIC http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9hYC...elated&search= 3. A Hilarious video about a Six Sigma consultancy company using the TV series "The Office". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoWanM3ecB8 I hope you enjoy, because I did. Regards, Ricardo. |

Hi Sparky.
I guess is not so difficult to download. I have 2 options: 1. If you try this link http://keepvid.com/ just copy and paste the youtube video ULR on proper window, select youtube and then click download button. The Page will prepare a Download Link, right click and save at your computer. Once download is finished, change the file extension to flv (and you need to have a flv player to play the video). 2. Other option that I use. Download the free software VDOWNLOAD from the link http://comunidad.uem.es/epuertas/pos...video-y-grinvi Install in your computer and download from youtube using video ULR. The convenience is the video downloaded plays on windows media player. 3. My current problem: Most of the videos is on English. Most of my audience is not fluent on English. And I need to add subtitles on these videos to use on my trainings. If someone knows any free software to include subtitles on these videos I will appreciate very much. Regards, Ricardo. |

Ricardo,
I don't know what format those videos are in but if they are in mpg or avi then this link should help you. http://www.videohelp.com/subsvirtual.htm Basically, its a two step process. First, make a text file with subtitles and times in it. Second integrate it with the video using the right software. Hope this helps a little. By the way PM me if you need help finding this software ![]() Cheers

Alec Baldwin is a Six Sigma Green Belt. Whut Up Now!
Well okay. If you watch the new show "30 Rock" on NBC every Wednesday, he plays a network executive on a Saturday Night Live type of a show on a show if this show makes sense. Anyway. It's cool in a way that SixSigma is promoted in popular culture (Not by G.I. Joe or Pink Floyd's old band Sigma Six). see clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tuS_liNUoA
