In reality as BPR is used mainly used for downsizing.

Yes Sir...In my MBA Programme we had some discussions on BPR with our professors from this book written by James Champy & Michael Hammer...This book was one of the international best-seller...

"Reengineering is the fundamental rethinking and radical redesign of business processes to achieve dramatic improvements in critical, contemporary measures of performance, such as cost, quality, service, and speed."
